Principal

Dear Cedar Ridge Community,

I am excited to serve the Cedar Ridge students, families and staff as principal!  I am a proud product of Whitfield County Schools.  I attended Dug Gap Elementary, Valley Point Middle and Southeast High School.  Go Raiders!  I continued my education at Dalton State, Kennesaw State University and Brenau University to earn my Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  I obtained my Master’s in Early Childhood Education from State University of West Georgia and continued on to receive my Educational Specialist degree with Leadership certification in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.  I am beginning my 25th year in education and each year brings new excitement, learning, growing, laughter and joy.  

As your principal, I desire to have an open-door of communication with parents, students and colleagues.  It is my wish that, together, we can support the needs of all learners and families in order for students to grow socially and academically.  I look forward to serving you in this capacity  and can’t wait to see you at school! Go Buccaneers!

Assistant Principal

My education journey began 24 years ago in Whitfield County. I’ve taught 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grades with an emphasis in Math and Science the last 14 years. This is my first year as Assistant Principal and I’m so excited to be serving here at Cedar Ridge!

When I’m not at school, I enjoy traveling, reading, and watching sports with my husband and two sons.
